Overview:

Asia is a celebration of diversity which showcases countless ethnicities, cultures, religions and civilizations co-existing side-by-side. Jointly organised by the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia and the Asian Peace and Reconciliation Council (APRC), the Dialogue on Diversity, Diplomacy and Peace is convened to discuss how diversity could be harnessed to further national and regional development, as well as contributing to stability and peace. The Hon. Prime Minister of Malaysia, Dato’ Sri Mohd. Najib Tun Razak will deliver the Keynote Address. Chaired by Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohamed Jawhar Hassan, the panellists for the Roundtable Discussion include Distinguished Professor Dr. Shamsul Amri Baharudin, Prof. Surichai Wun’gaeo and Prof. Dr. David Kennedy. The APRC Council members including Tun Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prof. Dr. Surakiart Sathirathai, Mr. Shaukat Aziz, Prof. Shunmugam Jayakumar, Dr. Hassan Wirajuda and Mr. Juha Christensen will also attend the Dialogue.
