Entitled “Voices from the Region”, ISIS Focus 13 examines the experiences of ASEAN in its fight against COVID-19. This includes the re-evaluation of existing systems, the ensuing policy responses to the pandemic and their implications, as well as the challenges that still remain in Vietnam as ASEAN Chair, Indonesia, the Philippines, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos and Myanmar. Two articles, in particular, comment on possible post-pandemic trends within the realms of domestic and regional security, and education. While the previous Special Editions delved into the Malaysian experience, this issue concludes with a previously published Quicktake, an infographic on steps towards the easing of the Movement Control Order (MCO) and its transition strategy.
